Stay with the client you’re working on. Shape the workspace around your team. See why someone can access a record.
This update brings more clarity to the places you spend your day: organization workspaces, shared passwords, attachments, and administration. We’ve also worked through more of your feedback on the little interruptions—filters that disappear, images that take too many clicks, and settings that are hard to find.
A clearer home for every client
Open an organization and keep its work together.
The organization workspace brings
Overview, Assets, Attachments, and History
into one place. Move between the client’s records and supporting information while keeping the organization context in view.Need another client? Use the organization selector, or choose
Browse Organizations
to return to the directory. Search and filter by status, type, tag, or license, then scroll through the results as more organizations load. The directory remembers your filters and position in this browser, so returning doesn’t mean starting over.Put the right work in front of each team
Your service desk and your operations team don’t always need the same starting point.
Navigation profiles
let admins arrange sidebar shortcuts and set the asset types shown by default on Assets. Create shared profiles in Settings → Navigation
, choose an account default, and assign profiles to users or groups.Keep a fixed selection of asset types, or include everything except the types you exclude. On Assets, users can switch between
Profile view
and All types
when they need the wider picture.Profiles organize the workspace. They don’t change permissions, grant access, or prevent someone from opening a record they’re already allowed to use.
See who has access—and why
A sharing setting is useful. An explanation is better.
Open a record’s
Access
tab and expand Access Snapshot
to inspect its configured access. Browse the access paths or search for an account member, then select the person to see their access result and permitted actions. The explanation distinguishes organization access from direct sharing, groups, and applicable folder or tag grants. You can see how the configuration fits together without treating everyone in a group as automatically able to read the record.
This shows configured access, not a history of who opened the record. Sign-in, network, and external vault restrictions still apply.
One password. All the websites it belongs to.
The same credential can work across several websites. It shouldn’t need several password records.
Add multiple website URLs to a single password. The first is the primary URL; the others stay with the same credential and history. Quick views show the primary link, with
+N more
to expand the rest when you need them.Open or copy the website you want, then collapse the list to keep the record compact.
Your images, easier to browse
Network diagrams, rack photos, screenshots—sometimes the attachment is the detail you need.
Records now show a compact image gallery on Overview, with a count when more images are available. Select a preview and browse with the previous/next controls or your keyboard’s arrow keys.
The
Attachments
tab keeps the full gallery and file actions together. Other files remain in the attachment list, and images without a thumbnail can be opened with Click to preview
.Less hunting through administration
We’ve brought related tools together:
- Logs and Exports are under Platform.
- Connectors are under Platform → Integrations, alongside Data sources, Data sync, and Third-Party.
- Skills are under Settings, with aManage connectorsshortcut when you need to configure the tools they use.
The
Third-Party
catalog also makes partner integrations easier to discover. Open a Lexful setup guide or the partner’s documentation directly from its card. These integrations are configured in the partner’s product; opening a guide doesn’t connect an account or start a sync.Find the activity behind the question
Search
Platform → Logs
, narrow the time range and filters, and use the activity chart to spot when events occurred. Trace
brings one user's recorded activity into a timeline. Export matching logs as CSV or JSON when you need to review them elsewhere.Renewal instructions where you need them
Bring an existing text or rich-text field into
Expirations
. In Settings → Monitoring
, choose Show notes
for a monitored date, then enable the Notes column in Expirations. Review renewal instructions alongside the due date without maintaining another copy.Know where an integration stands
The integration catalog separates saved connections, available integrations and coming-soon entries. Where early-access setup is offered, save credentials and explicitly opt into syncing when available. A coming-soon listing does not mean sync is already running.
The smaller changes you’ll use every day
- Your filters come back with you.Asset lists remember applied search, filters, tags, and organization selections in this browser. An explicit filter in a shared link still takes precedence.
- Key contacts are easier to identify.Use the star to mark a contact asKey Contact, with the same designation available during creation and in Details.
- Check a new API key before you close the dialog.Reveal or hide its secret when it’s created or regenerated. It still needs to be stored before closing; reveal doesn’t make it retrievable later.
- File drops stay in the upload flow.Fixed files dropped on the Documents upload overlay passing through to the page underneath.
- More compatible external tools in Ask Lex.Fixed a compatibility issue that could prevent some connectors’ tools from working with Ask Lex.
- Large connector tool catalogs save reliably.Fixed a size-limit failure when saving selected connector tools. Authentication and permissions still apply.
- Help and feedback have familiar addresses.Find guides at and share requests at .
